Manchester United ready to bid £10m for Samir Nasri


Arsenal midfielder and french international Samir Nasri's contract for the gunners ends this season, with him not wanting to renew his contract

United are ready to pay £10m for Nasri when his contract expires at the end of the 2011-2012 season. This has definately upset Arsne Wenger, Arsenal manager as he has already lost his midfielder Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona. Rumors are also going around that Manchester City has also shown interest in the player and are willing to pay £25million for the french player

Cesc Fabregas, the Arsenal captain and Spanish midfielder leaves to his childhood dream club Barcelona

Fabregas has wanted to play for Barcelona and now the romours of him leaving have become a reality. Barcelona initially offered £27m for the Arsenal captain but it did not satisfy Arsene Wenger as he wanted £40m. However, Barca have made an offer of £36m which is icluding an additional £5.2m in performance based add ons

Wenger admits that the player is unsettled and would like to leave to Barcelona

Liverpool agrees deal for Enrique


Liverpool have agreed a fee with Newcastle for the transfer of Spanish defender Jose Enrique, the club confirmed the transfer on Thursday.

Enrique, aged 25, joined Newcastle from Villarreal in 2007 and has emerged as a key figure in the magpies defence. Enrique had said Newcastle's recent transfer deals were undermining the club's chances of challenging for honours in the Premier League.
