Barcelona Takes the UEFA Champions League
After a thrilling match at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, the favourites definitely showed why they are the best team in the world
With both these teams having a very successful season, a great game was expected from these two teams and they didn't disappoint. The first 20 minutes were looking to be promising for Manchester united, and looked like they could have a chance against such a feared team which took out top clubs such as Arsenal and Real Madrid, But as usual, Barcelona showed why they are number 1. Pedro scored the first goal for Barcelona to take the lead, but Wayne Rooney came back to show the fight wast over just yet.
Barca came back second half with Messi scoring the goal to put them in the lead and then a third scored by David Villa who scored a cracking goal which sealed the lead and giving Man united fans no hope.
Barcelona has won the title four times and are proved to be the best club in the world

Van der Sar sends his farewells
Edwin Van der Sar, the 40-year-old Dutchman has chosen to end his career and has played his final season for Manchester United
Van der Sar has been with the club for six years and has played his last Premiership match for the Red Devils on Sunday, he has left Old Trafford with 4 league titles and only says he wishes he had been signed earlier. He will be playing his last match at the Wembley stadium against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League final. Teammates have tried to persuade the Dutchman otherwise, but he says it is always nice to hear people praising you but also have to think about whats best for yourself.
He has left his great legacy at his club and will always be remembered as one of the greatest goalkeepers

Arsenal looking to sighn Benzema
After a disappointing season for Arsenal, the club is interested in signing a new striker to bring change and hopefully success to the club.
According to Marca, Arsenal could offer up to £20 million For the 23-year-old french striker, Karim Benzema from Real Madrid where he is not getting enough game time. Benzema will be a backup striker for Robin Van Persie witch is a quality striker, but is also prone to injury and rarely completes a season for his club.
There is still much negotiating to be done, And if Arsne Wenger is willing to offer that amount, which is a rare case from him
Manchester United v Barcelona in UEFA Champions League Final
Manchester United will face Barcelona this Saturday the 28Th may in the Wembley Stadium in London at 20:45 in the UEFA Champions League final.
These two teams have had a very successful season with Barcelona winning the La Liga, and Manchester United winning the Barclay's Premier League. This is not the first time these two teams have met in the Champions League final. The previous time they met, Barcelona had beaten Manchester in the final with a 2-0 victory with Leonel Messi scoring the second goal to seal the victory for Barcelona.
Barcelona faced Real Madrid in the semi final and Knocked them out to book their place in the final, with Manchester defeating Schalke 4-1 at home to join Barcelona in the final. Both of these teams are going for there fourth time winning the Champions league which should result in a good game as they compete for five titles.
19th Title for United
After a thrilling season in the Barclay's Premier league, it has been very exciting to watch with all the great surprises and also many upsets.
With Manchester United being on top of the league for the majority of the time, they looked favourites to snatch the title. Although they were ahead, they never had a comfortable lead over teams such as Arsenal and Chelsea, but with many disappointments from Arsenal with matches they threw away, they also threw away their chances of wining title. Chelsea also came back after having a bad run, but then to also lost hope after loosing 2-1 to Manchester in the final stages of the Premier league.
After defeating Chelsea, Manchester United were just a point away from claiming the title which they received after drawing to Blackburn 1-1. They have beat Liverpool's record of having won the title 18 times. Manchester are also in the UEFA Champions league final which will take place on Saturday the 28Th of May against Barcelona.
