The record for the quickest goal goes to Bobby Langton from Preston. The winger scored after just seven seconds against Man. City on August 25 1948. But the quickest goal in the Premier League history came from Tottenham's Ledley King after just 10 seconds against Bradford in 2000

With a 4-o win on the weekend with Lionel Messi scoring 2 goals and getting the golden boot award in La Liga, Barcelona win the title by four points over Real Madrid which drew with a dissapointing score of 1-1.

Rafael Benitez Moving to Juve?


Rumours have been passing that Rafael Benitez will be moving to Juventus in the Serie A at the end of the season. With a dissapointing performans from the Liverpool coach this season finishing 7 in the Premier League and not qualifying in the Champions League and bearly making it for Europa League.

With the last few tickets left for the World Cup matches in South Africa, it is now only a few weeks untill the first wistle blows. The final rush for tickets has started for the people who havent booked their seats in the FIFA world cup. The final will take place in Soccer City in johannesburg with the latgest capacity of 80,000 to 94,700 which is by far the largest stadiums in Africa with the totla cost of 3 million.

Real Madrid pray for Barca to slip


With one point on top of La Liga, Barcelona have one more fixture to play on the weekend. Real Madrid are hoping that Barcelona slip up on their next game, playing away will make it a little more tough for the spanish side but will they be able to do it. It is a nail bitting finish to see who will take the lead to the top of the log on the weekend.

Chelsea takes the title!


With 1 point difference and 1 more game to play, Chelsea needed a win to stay ontop of the Premier League table. With a thrashing 8-0 win to Chelsea against Wigan, with Drogba getting his hatrick and golden boot award, Chelsea secured the title as their own. Manchester United also wining 4-0 were hoping Wigan could hold back the blues with atleast getting a draw. Wayne Rooney was also awarded player of the tournament for Manchester United and they finished off second on the log with Chelsea one point above them.

Top goal scorers in LA Liga


Lionel Messi is the top goal scorer in La Liga with 31 goals for Barcelona.
With the second most goals from Real Madrid is Gonzalo Higuain with 26 goals this season and then last but not least in the same club is Christiano Ronaldo with just one goal behind, 25

Real Madrid and Barcelona race to the finish


With Barcelona top of the log, they look promising to take the first place in La Liga. But with Real Madrid just behind them by one point, they cannot aford to relax just yet.

Barcelona managed to win 3-2 over Sevilla with messi scoring the winner in the final minutes of the game and get their 3 points to remain on top of La Liga.

Real Madrid got their point with ease over the weekend with a 5-1 win over Athletic with Christiano Ronaldo scoring once again for his club.

Chelsea on top of the Premier League


With a great 2-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, Chelsea look to finish top of the log in the Premier League. Sir Alex Furgason can only hope that the blues make a mistake in their last games for Manchester United to take the lead.

Coach of Chelsea, Carlos Ancelotti feels that his team deserves to take the title in the Premier League which is rightfully ours says Ancelotti.
